The wife of the Governor has told people in positions of Authority to leave legacies.

The wife of the Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu has charged the people in positions of authority to use their positions to positively touch the downtrodden and leave good legacies.

Mrs. Ikpeazu who gave the charge at Uratta in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area during the Birthday Ceremony of Chief Mrs. Chizaram Ihuka, the wife of a Commissioner in ASOPADEC Chief Uzoma Ihuka said it is good for people to use any good opportunity to touch lives and commended the celebrant for establishing a non-governmental organization through which she is reaching out people of the grassroot.

The wife of the Governor thanked God for adding another year to thee celebrant and prayed God to bless her with the good things of life.

In his speech, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency Chief Ginger Onwusuibe thanked God for delivering the celebrant from sickness and gave her another opportunity.

Speaking also, the Vice President of Vicar Hope Foundation Dr. Mrs. Edith Nwsou urged parents to educate their children on the importance of knowing their genotype in order to reduce the prevalence of sickle cell in society.

In her remarks, the celebrant, Chief Mrs. Chizaram Ihuka expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and good health, adding that she established dthe NGO in gratitude to God for his goodness towards her as well as expressed her support to the programmes of the Vica Hope Foundation.

Our Government House Correspondent, Vincent Okogbuo reports that the event featured cutting of the birthday cake and was attended by top government officials in the State.
