The Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has commended the National Association of Proprietors of Private schools for complimenting Government’s efforts in the uplift of the education sector in the State.
Sir Oko Chukwu who made the commendation when the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Umuahia described members of the Association as wonderful and equal partners with Government in the provision of quality education to the citizenry.
The Deputy Governor reiterated that the present administration from its inception made education its number one policy thrust which has made pupils and students across the state to continue to excel in both state and national examinations and promised to sustain the wonderful relationship existing between them and Government.
Earlier in his remarks, the National President National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools who stated that they were in the State to offer their support for the State in quality education to enable the State maintain its leading role in NECO and WAEC Examinations as well as partner Government in proffering solutions to the challenges in the education sector and requested that they be carried along in matters concerning education in the State.
