The Most Rev Miracle Ajah has been inducted as the new Principal Clerk of the General Assembly, Presbyterian Church of Nigeria.

Performing the induction charge at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ehere Model Parish, Ogbor Hill Aba, the Prelate and Moderator of General Assembly- His Eminence Nzie Nsi Eke encouraged him to be an exemplary in conduct as a soldier of Christ.

Contributing, the Chairman African Council of Returned Churches – the Most Rev Emma Onwunta urged him to acknowledge God in his dealings, be courageous in discharging his duties and develop trust so as to succeed.

Preaching on the topic “Are you the one that is to come or do we expect another Messiah?, the National President Christian Council of Nigeria – the, Most Rev Fubara Manuel urged  Ministers of God not to betray the trust reposed in them but use their positions to build the Church by speaking good of those that offended them.

Presenting the Citation, the Deputy Clerk of the General Assembly – the Rt. Rev Solomon Okoro said the Most Rev Miracle Ajah a native of Abia Ohafia, a Doctorate holder of Theology Old Testament, is passionate about leadership training, church planting, lay development and Bible translation was elected the new Principal Clerk of the General Assembly during the 24th meeting at Hope Waddell Chapel Calabar, September last year.

Responding, the new Principal Clerk, Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, General Assembly – the Most Rev Miracle Ajah expressed excitement over his new office, promising that his tenure will witness aggressive Evangelism and Church planting.

Our Aba Zonal Correspondent Chinyere Francis Anyaogu reports that the induction service which attracted the presence of Past and serving members of the General Assembly including the Moderator Umuahia East Presbytery – the Rt. Rev. Ibeabuchi Agwu, Archbishop Ikem Nnonah of the Aba Methodist Church who led other Ecumenical leaders witnessed signing of the induction formula, affirming of vows by the new Principal Clerk, prayers, thanksgiving and presentation of gifts as well as parade by the brigade.
