The first South East Zonal Leadership Congress with the theme: ‘’School Growth: Ways of Alternative Income’’ of the National Association of Private Schools (NAPPS), has ended in Umuahia with a resolution to train and retrain its members.
In an eleven point communique issued at the end of the Congress, NAPPS recognized that there are alternative ways to increase income without relying on school fees in running the affairs of the Schools and appreciated Government in the South-East for propelling Private Education Sector.
The Communique jointly signed by the National Vice President, Mrs. Nonye Enemuo, Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Chief Onyeoma Agbo and the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee, Prince Okey Ufomba, resolved to support the growth of its member Schools.
It also appealed to the States in the Zone to integrate the Association in government Policies and Programmes as well as provide template aimed at engaging individual States of the Zone through its National body towards projecting their Programmes.
The National Association of Private Schools thanked the State Government for playing host while the National President, Dr. Yomi Otubela delivered a Keynote address
