World Sickle Cell Disease and International Widows Day.

The member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Chief Chimaobi Ebisike has congratulated the wife of the State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu on her successful hosting of this year’s World Sickle Cell Disease and International Widows Day, and urged her to keep the good works.

In a release, Chief Ebisike noted with delight that Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu has affected many lives positively through her pet project – Vicar Hope Foundation, adding that her aggressive and sustained efforts to educate and enlighten the people on the need to test for their genotype before marriage are unequalled.

The Federal Lawmaker used the platform to thank Mrs. Ikpeazu for personally campaigning for him before the recent Aba North and South Federal Constituency bye-election which he won.

He pledged his support for the people oriented programmes of the wife of Governor while calling on other well to do Abians to emulate her efforts aimed affecting positively the lives of down-trodden and the less privileged Abians.
