The Director General, Broadcasting Corporation of Abia, Sir Anyaso Anyaso, has charged new members of BCA Welfare Committee to be committed to their new assignment.
Inaugurating the Welfare Committee, at BCA Conference Room, Sir Anyaso disclosed that the new Welfare Scheme was born out of the desire to upgrade the welfare of staff and harped on the need for them to study the welfare document in order not to misinterpret it.
He enjoined them to shun corruption, favouritism, bias, among others and congratulated them on their new assignment as well as the team that worked tirelessly to see that the new scheme emerged.
In his remarks, the outgoing Welfare President, Elder Chris Esinwa highlighted some of their achievements during their four-year term as drafting a new Welfare Constitution, distribution of Christmas Packages, organizing three annual general meetings, organizing send forth for retirees, and congratulated the new Welfare Committee on their emergence.
Responding, the new BCA Welfare Committee Chairman, Lady Esther Nwokoma promised that they will deliver on their job diligently and thanked the Director General and Management for the opportunity given them to serve.
