The State Government has taken delivery of five big sized receptacles from the Nigerian Breweries PLC Aba to complement her efforts in keeping the state clean.
Receiving the receptacles on behalf of the state government, at the premises of the Nigerian Breweries Aba, the secretary to the state government Mr. Chris Ezem commended the Nigerian Breweries PLC for the kind gesture, adding that it will add value to government’s desire to sustain the cleanliness of the state through prompt and quick removal of waste in all parts of the state.
Mr. Ezem maintained that one of the cardinal policies of the present administration is to sustain a clean environment and identified the company as partners in progress with the present government.
The SSG also recalled that the company had during the Covid 19 pandemic made cash and material donations to government and assured them that the government will continue to provide an enabling environment for their business to thrive.
Also Speaking, the general manager ASEPA Mr. Eze Okwulehie, the Deputy General Manager ASEPA Aba Mr. Rowland Nwakanma represented by his chief of staff appreciated the Management and Staff of the Nigerian Breweries Aba for the donation.
Handing over the receptacles to the State Government, the Brewery Manager Mr. Abbey Ajayi and the Corporate Affairs Manager South East, Mr. Chukwuemeka Aniukwu said the gesture is part of their corporate social responsibility and appreciated the state government for the laudable developmental projects going on in the state.
