Ajata- na- igu Autonomous Community Ikwuano Local Government Area.

An Entrepreneur and Philanthropist from Ajata- na- igu Autonomous Community Ikwuano Local Government, Mr. David Udochukwu has donated sets of computer, generator and education materials to Ikwuano Education Authority to complement the efforts of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the education sector.

Handing over the computer sets, generator and education materials including exercise books, pen, pencils, erasers to the Secretary Ikwuano Education Authority Mrs Chinyere Ehilegbu at Agbala Ahia four, Mr. Udochukwu stated that the gesture was to ensure that students in Ikwuano and beyond get the best of education as well as acquire relevant skills to compete with their peers in other states of the Federation.

He described Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as an education friendly Governor and a role model adding that the Governor has done so much to ensure that Abia maintains her leading role in the education sector.

Mr. Udochukwu who has heeded the call for well to do Abians in the diaspora to come home and invest at home to provide job opportunities and grow the state’s economy also runs free lessons with transport fare for benefitting students as well as scholarship to indigent students in Secondary and Tertiary Institutions.

Receiving the donated items from David Udochukwu,the Education Secretary, Ikwuano Education Authority, Mrs. Chinyere Ehilegbu thanked the donor for his uncommon gesture aimed at Complimenting the efforts of Governor Ikpeazu in the education sector and called on other wealthy sons and daughters of Ikwuano to emulate him.

Mrs Ehilegbu who later handed over the items to the Head mistress of Ikwueke central School, Mrs. Ngozi Okiyi assured that the items will be put to good use.
In their separate remarks, Mr. Chukwuma Richard, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor, Mrs. Ngozi Okiyi Headmistress Ikwueke central School and Chioma David eulogized, Mr. David Udochukwu for his support to the Government especially for investing at home.

Responding on behalf of other students, Emmanuel Chika thanked Mr. David Udochukwu for his interest in their education and prayed God to bless and reward him.
