Addressing the people of Abayi Ancient Kingdom in Obingwa Local Government
Area during the Inauguration of Amaise UKpakiri Customary Court, Ala-oji, Obingwa Local Government Area, the President of the State Customary Court of Appeal, Justice SMC Ururuka-Onyensoh, noted that the realization of the Customary Court, Ala-oji, was made possible by the efforts of the Traditional Ruler of Abayi Ancient Kingdom, Eze Nwabiaraije Eneogwe.
The president who reminded Eze Eneogwe of the need to ensure his subjects protect the Customary Court, commended the people of Amaisi Ukpakiri and Ala-oji for allowing the Court to be located in their area.
Earlier, a former Deputy Chairman of the Abia State Council of Ndi Eze, Eze Nwabiaraije Eneogwe thanked the President, Justice Ururuka-Onyensoh for locating the Amaise Ukpakiri Customary Court at Alaoji and made a case for the consideration of the indigenes in the staffing of the Court.
In his contribution, a former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area, Prince Obinna Nwabiaraije lauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the choice of Justice Ururuka-Onyensoh as the president of Abia State Customary court of Appeal.
