The State House of Assembly Committee on Public petitions.

The State House of Assembly Committee on Public petitions has invited some persons to appear before it in respect of the Ezeship tussle in Ohafor Abam Autonomous Community today.

A release singed by the Chairman of the Committee, Chief Esmeka Okaoroafor names them to include the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mrs. J. C. Nwanju, the Director, Chieftaincy Affairs, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Damian Ngozioha, the President and Secretary General, Ozu Abam Development Union National, the Ezeogos, Ohafor Abam Autonomous Community, Chief Ikechukwu Okoroafor and Chief Augustine Kalu-Ezelu.

The release puts the venue at the Chairman’s Office, Assembly Complex, Umuahia while time is nine o’clock in the morning.

Similarly, the Committee has invited some persons to appear before it same day at eleven o’clock in the morning at the same venue following a petition written by Dr. Ben Ogbonna and Mrs. Nwachukwu Ifeoma-Lucy against the Management of Abia State University, Uturu, ABSU, and that of Mrs. Okwuonu Gladys against the Management of Abia State University Teaching Hospital, Aba, ABSUITH.

A release endorsed by the Chairman, Chief Emeka Okoroafor names them as the Vice Chancellor, Abia State University, Uturu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Abia State University, Uturu, the Registrar, Abia State University, Uturu.

Others are the Chief Medical Director, Abia State University Teaching Hospital, ABSUTH, Aba, Director of Administration, ABSUTH, and Director of Finance, ABSUTH.
