The member representing Arochukwu/ Ohafia in the Federal house of Representatives Hon. Uko Nkole has assured his constituents that he will not be daunted in his resolve towards providing his constituents with quality represention through the attraction of basic social amenities, beyond sponsoring of bills and carrying out his oversight functions as a lawmaker, noting that his achievements are all visible for anyone to see and feel.
Hon. Nkole made the remarks while addressing The Arochukwu/ Ohafia stakeholder’s consultative forum held in Ozu Abam, also used the occasion to render his stewardship in office, as he took time to outline his numerous achievements in the area of attraction of several road projects, empowerment of constituents, award of scholarships, beside his support in the area of stomach infrastructure and harped on the need for all to work hard towards sustaining the current peace, security and stability experienced in the area and thanked the stakeholders for their support.
He commended the giant strides of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu in the construction of road projects, Commerce, security, and for making Abia an economic hub through his lead roll in the propagation of made in Aba products and called on them to continue throwing their unflinching support to his administration.
In their remarks, a cross section of the stakeholders namely, The state PDP secretary, David Iro and Chief Mrs. Nnenna Obewu Onwuka commended Hon. Nkole for taking represention in Arochukwu/ Ohafia federal constituency to another level, adding that they’ve never had it so good until his emergence in 2015, expressing gratitude for the accelerated completion of work on the new Mmuri concrete Bridge and urged him to extend his Midas touch to Omenuko Bridge.
The meeting later witnessed the passage of a vote of confidence on Hon. Nkole by the Arochukwu/ Ohafia stakeholder’s consultative forum following a motion that was moved by Anagha Udo and seconded by Godswill Iro.
