Rev. Geoffrey Ibeabuchi has enjoined Christians to sustain progress for the peace and development of the State.

The Anglican Bishop of Umuahia Rev. Geoffrey Ibeabuchi has enjoined Christians to sustain progress for the peace and development of the State as they celebrate the Easter.

Speaking on the happiness in the country Bishop Ibeabuchi frowned at the level of insecurity in the country and called on the Federal Government to take proactive measures to protect lives and property of the citizenry.

He thanked God for another opportunity to celebrate this year’s Easter and encouraged Nigerians to turn to God in prayers regarding the affairs of the nation.

Bishop Ibeabuchi also thanked God for reduction in the Covid-19 infection in the country and commended the federal government for rolling out vaccine against the virus.

He called forward rebuilding of the nation from reproach and used the medium to invite the public to the first session of the 10th Synod of the Church holding of St. Mary’s  Anglican Church Ohokobe/Umuohu Ndume from twenty-eight April to second May this year with the  theme “Let us rebuild and end this reproach.
