Chief Chinedum Orji has commended the people of Umuahia South for their unflinching support.

The Speaker State House of Assembly Chief Chinedum Orji has commended the people of Umuahia South for their unflinching support to the present administration in the state.

 Chief Orji who stated this at the Seventh Day Adventist Hall Ubakala in Umuahia South Local Government Area during the Re-dedication prayer meeting and empowerment program of Okezuo Abia Organization Umuahia South Women’s wing extolled them for the active role they played towards the emergence of the Governor Dr.  Okezie Ikpeazu and Senator T A Orji among others in 2015 and 2019 general elections.

The Speaker who attributed commitment, loyalty and patient as key to enhancing development lauded the coordinator of the group Mr. Kelechi Aguiyi his Woman Leader Mrs. Ihechiluru Nwosu, Commissioner in ASOPADEC Mr. Yellow Ikpegbu and Chief Ejim Chibuzor among others for their role in moving the group forward in the area and announced that the ongoing Umuahia South mini Stadium he attracted to the area will be named after a pioneer member of PDP in Umuahia South Chief Tony Ukasanya.

In their remarks the Coordinator Okezuo Abia Organization Umuahia South chapter Mr Kelechi Aguiyi and Woman Leader of the group Mrs Ihechiluru Nwosu said that the organization for the past four years has empowered over four hundred women in addition to awarding scholarships to indigent pupils and students and extolled Chief Chinedum Orji for his leadership prowess.

The event attracted the presence of the Secretary to the State Government Mr. Chris Ezem, Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency Chief Jerry Uzosike, Members of the Umuahia South Patriots, Okezuo Abia Organization among other political stakeholders in the area.
