Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, has condoled the Special Adviser to the Governor, Sir Gabe Igboko and family over the death of their Mother.

The Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, has condoled the Special Adviser to the Governor, Sir Gabe Igboko and family over the death of their Mother, Madam Esther Nnenna lgboko.

Speaking while condoling the bereaved family during a special outing and thanksgiving service held in honour of the deceased at the St Thomas Catholic Church, Amuvi Arochukwu in Arochukwu Local Government Area, Sir Oko Chukwu appreciated God for the fulfilled life of 91 years granted Madam Esther lgboko which she used in making impact on people’s lives and Community.

The Deputy Governor recalled that the death of a beloved Mother can be a very devastating and traumatic experience, but urged the Chief mourner, Sir Gabe Igboko and other family members to take heart recognizing the fact that death is inevitable and beyond the control of man.

He further enjoined them to take solace in the fact that their Mother lived a very good Christian life as well as trained them to become responsible citizens that have been contributing to the development of their Community and State and appreciated the lgboko family for according their Mother a befitting burial.

Sir Oko Chukwu used the forum to commend the Parish Priest, the Rev Father, Kizito Mgbemena, for the wonderful works he has been doing in the Parish in addition to their fervent prayers for the peace, stability and progress of the State, urging them not to relent.

In his homily, Deacon Elvis Ononaku enjoined Christians to emulate Jesus Christ who he described as the true Shepherd by imbibing the virtues of being good shepherds and urged them to show love to people around and under their care.

Responding on behalf of the family, the Special Adviser to the Governor, Sir Gabe Igboko, said their Mother was a hardworking, amiable and resourceful woman that instilled in them, Godly virtues and thanked the Deputy Governor for coming to identify with them.

Our Government House Correspondent, Mercy Kalu, reports that the wife of the Deputy Governor, Lady Vivian Ude  Oko Chukwu, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and other top Government Officials graced the Thanksgiving Service.
