Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has thanked God for his grace which saw Enyimba International   Football Club of Aba rose to the challenge to beat Orlando pirates of South Africa one-zero in Aba last night to qualify for the quarter finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.

In a tweet after the encounter, Governor Ikpeazu said the massive support the team received from her fans across the Globe and particularly from the NFF led by Amaju Picnic should serve as tonic for greater commitment and hard work from the team.

Governor Ikpeazu said he was personally thrilled by the fact that matches can now be played at the Enyimba International Stadium at ten o’clock in the night with flood lights on an ultra-modern hurt complimented by a digital score board all of  which were provided by his administration and which also  attracted accolades from the match commentators.
