Government will continue to provide quality healthcare delivery to rural communities in the state.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joe Osuji who dropped the hint during the Foundation-laying ceremony of Ndi-Inya Abam Health Centre in Ohafor Autonomous Community in Arochukwu Local Government Area said the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu , approved the immediate construction of the Health Centre for quality dispensing of healthcare needs in the area.

Dr. Osuji said the facility when completed, would be equipped with modern medical equipment that will take care of both infants, old and young persons including mothers of child bearing age and   charged them to ensure the protection of   all government properties entrusted in their hands.

 Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of Abia State Primary HealthCare Development Agency, Dr. Chinagozi Adindu, assured the Community that the Health Centre will not be abandoned as the Governor had already mapped out funds for completion of the project.

Earlier in their remarks, the Executive Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr.  Okorie Nnamdi, His Royal Highness Ezeogo Anthony Udo Nwankwo and the Palace Secretary – Chief Anthony Okereke Egbuta thanked the Governor Ikpeazu for remembering them and pledged their unalloyed support to his administration.
