KOTA SIGN.

The Commissioner for Works, Dr Bob Ogu says the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu in his magnanimity adopted a strategic sustainable template in execution of roads rehabilitation in the state.

Dr Ogu who stated this while featuring in BCA Audience Participatory Program KOTA SIGN Co-anchored by a former Commissioner for Environment Dr Ike Onyenwaku said that the gesture which is in phases have continued to enable the State Government and Ministry of Works achieved  concrete milestones and positive results in roads construction as well as the reconstruction process.

The Works Commissioner who expressed optimism that roads being constructed by the Governor will outlive his administration also disclosed that the Osisioma Ngwa Fly Over, Faulks, Umuobasi Estate and Aba Owerri in Aba will be commissioned soon.

He further assured that other ongoing Roads Construction started by the present administration will be completed and urged the residents of Aba, Umuahia and their environs to desist from dumping refuse into the drainage in order to improve the aesthetics of the areas.

Correspondent Simeon Kalu reports that some caller’s on the program Commended the Governor for his marvelous works especially the Construction and reconstruction of roads in the state and enjoined Abians to ensure that government facilities in their areas are adequately protected.
