As the public and private schools in the state reopened on Monday this week for the third term academic session, attendance to some schools in Aba recorded an impressive turnout of pupil.

Our ABA Zonal Correspondent Ngozi Paul Onuoha who monitored some schools in Aba between 9am and 11am including Hospital road primary school one and two, Abuwa memorial primary school Okpu umuobo, Abayi umuocham primary school Aba reports that attendance of pupils and teachers to school was encouraging.

At the Hospital road primary school, many pupils reported to school with their teachers in attendance while at the Hospital road primary school, there were also many pupils in attendance.

At Abayi umuocham primary school 50 pupils had reported to school by nine o’clock in the morning with all their teachers in attendance while at Abuwa memorial primary school, class one, Okpu umuobo only 20 pupils out of 35 came to school.

In an interview, the headmistress hospital road primary school 2, Mrs Okorie Florence and the Assistant Headmistress hospital road primary school 1, Mrs Nwabueze Lilian appealed to parents to release their wards to school as effective Learning and teaching has commenced.
