2022 Eastern Nigeria Union Adventist Men’s Convention.
The Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has enjoined Christians to be courageous in proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.
Dr Ikpeazu who stated this at the closing of the 2022 Eastern Nigeria Union Conference Adventist Men’s Organization Convention held at Clifford University Ihie, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area noted that, it is becoming difficult to propagate the Gospel of the second coming of Christ considering the increasing number of false preachers and religious merchants.
The Governor said Christians need God’s grace to acquaint themselves with the scriptures to be able to do exploits, affirming that rendering stewardship should not prevent people from taking proper care of themselves.
He congratulated the Adventist Men’s Organization, Eastern Nigeria Union Conference on their successful retreat/Convention, and enjoined them to put into practice all they learnt for more soul winning.
Preaching on the topic “Empower me according to your ability”, the President Eastern Nigeria Union Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Pastor Bassey Udoh, observed that comparison and competition in life attract envy, jealousy and hatred, affirming that God does not give everyone equal gifts.
Pastor Udoh further enjoined Christians to complement the marvelous work of God in Appreciation and desist from murmuring.
In an interview, the Director of Eastern Nigeria Union Conference Adventist Men’s Organization Elder Sampson Agomuoh said the primary aim of the Convention was to encourage fathers to see the need to live Godly lifestyles to be more useful to themselves, their families, church and society in general.
