A frontline politician and PDP stalwart, Chief Isaac Ogbonna, has described the commissioning of four legacy projects including ASUBEB office complex today by the State Governor,  Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as a clear testimony of the Governor’s  avowed determination to provide conducive teaching and learning as well as befitting office accommodation for the staff.

Chief Ogbonna in a release congratulated the Governoron the rare feat and the incumbent ASUBEB Chairman, Elder Josiah Anonaba, describing him as a hard-working Administrator.

He particularly extolled the State Governor for his huge investment in the education sector, noting that the Smart School Project is a bold attempt by the Universal Basic Education to establish model Schools that will freely use technology to enable children acquire qualitative education comparable to what obtains in the advanced countries of the World.

The Elder Statesman and founding member of the PDP in the State expressed the hope that Governor Ikpeazu’s efforts at repositioning the Ministry of Basic Education and ASUBEB will impact positively on the upbringing of Abia pupils and students as well as the staff of ASUBEB in achieving greater heights.
