The State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Christopher Enweremadu has described fathers as pillars of homes as their responsibilities are divine.

The Commissioner who made the remarks at the Fathers’ Day ceremony put together by The Apostolic Church, Abayi, used the occasion to thank The Apostolic Church for partnering government towards the development of the State, assuring that Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu’s quest to take development to all parts of the State remains irrevocable.

He reminded them of the need to acquire their PVCs, as that is the civic duty of every Christian, and harped on the need to support all PDP candidates in next year’s general election.

In his remarks, the PDP candidate for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency in next year’s general election, Prof. ACB Agbazuere emphasized the need for the church to be at the fore front of enthroning good governance by participating actively in electioneering processes and urged them to pray fervently for the present administration in the State.

Highpoint of the event was a special prayer offered for Sir Christopher Enweremadu and his entourage by Rev. D. U. Onyeike.
