Nigeria’s Super Falcons will today face the Bayana Bayana of South Africa in their first match of the ongoing African Women cup of Nations in Morocco.

The match is scheduled for 6pm Nigerian time.

Burundi will later take on Botswana in the other match of the day.

Yesterday, it was exciting as Senegal beat Uganda 2-0, Cameroun drew goalless with Zambia, while Tunisia thrashed Togo 4-1.

Meanwhile, Abia warriors beat Gombe United 3-2, Dakkada Fc overcame Katsina United 2-0, and Heartland pipped Sunshine Stars 1-0 while Enugu Rangers drew 2-2 with Shooting Stars in matches decided yesterday in the Nigerian professional football league.

MFM lost 1-2 to Niger Tornados, Rivers United piped Kano Pillars 1-0, Kwara United thrashed Nasarawa United 3-0, and Remo Stars beat Enyimba 1-0, Plateau United were 2-1 better than Lobi Stars while Wikki Tourists beat Akwa United 2-0.

Correspondent Francis Nwaubani reports that winners, Rivers United lead the table with 74 points followed by Plateau United with 64 and Remo Stars 56 points.

Enyimba are currently on 6th position on the league table with 52 points while Abia Warriors are currently on the 12th position with 46 points.
