The State Head of Service, Sir Onyii Wamah, gave the charge in his office, when he inaugurated Members of the Disciplinary Committee on Absence from Duty Without Leave.

The Chief Servant of the State Service, who reminded the Workforce that government official work period remains eight o’clock in the morning to four o’clock in the evening, made it clear that anything to the contrary amounts to blatant and flagrant violation of the Public Service Rules and other extant Laws.

Sir Wamah who expressed confidence in the caliber of the Committee Members, urged them not only to discharge their duties without fear or favour but also, to adhere strictly to the Public Service Rules.

The Committee has two weeks to make its submission.
