GOVERNOR IKPEAZU INVITES SOME DIGNITARIES TO JOIN HIM FOR SPECIAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE TO MARK THE 31ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF ABIA STATE.

The Governor, Dr. Okezie  Ikpeazu has  invited some dignitaries  to join him at St. Stephens Anglican Cathedral Church, Umuahia, for Special Thanksgiving Service as part of activities marking the thirty-first Anniversary of the Creation of Abia State on Sunday at eleven o’clock in the morning.

A release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chris Ezem, names kthem to include the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, Members of the National Assembly, the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Chinedum Orji ,  Members of the House of Assembly and the Chief Judge of the state and President Customary Court of Appeal, Abia State.

Others are the State Head of Service, Members of the State Advisory Council, All commissioners, the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff, the Chairman, People’s Democratic Party and Members of State Working Committee and all Permanent Secretaries.          

Also invited are all Local Government Chairmen and their deputies, all Special Advisers and Assistants to the Governor, Chairman, Abia Council of Traditional Rulers and his Executives, the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter and Executives, Brigadier General 14 Brigade, Ohafia, the Commandant Nigeria Naval Finance and Logistics College, Owerrinta and Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 9 Police Headquarters.

Still invited are the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, Director, State Security Services, the Comptroller, Immigration Services, the Comptroller Correctional Services, and the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp.

The rest are the Sector Commander, FRSC, the Commandant, Abia Fire Service, Chairmen and Secretaries of Abia and Umuahia Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Media Practitioners and General Public

The release advises all to be seated before the arrival of the Governor.
