Queen Elizabeth the Second, the UK’s longest serving Monarch has died at Balmoral at the age of ninety-six.
Reports say she reigned for seventy years as she came to the throne in 1952.
The reports say her family gathered at he Scottish Estate after concerns grew about her health earlier yesterday.
Her eldest son, Prince Charles who becomes King Charles the Third and the Head of State for fourteen Commonwealth realms has described the death of his beloved mother as a moment of great sadness.
Meanwhile, Prime Minsiter, Liz Trus who was appointed by the Queen on Tuesday this week, said the Monarch was the rock on which modern Britain was built and had provided them with stability and strength that they needed.
