The opening of the 2022/2023 Legal Year of the State Judiciary with the “Theme Judiciary: the Challenges of Non-Implementation of Financial Autonomy holds today.
A release by the Chief Registrar, Judiciary High Court of Justice Abia State, V. C. Okey Nwokeukwu on behalf of the Chief Judge and President Abia State Customary Court of Appeal says the event will commence with a church service at nine o’clock this morning at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Chapel FMC Umuahia, inspection of Guard of Honour, and Special Court Session at the Judiciary Headquarters, High Court of Justice Umuahia
According to the release, the Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is the Special Guest of Honour.
The release further invites, the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Okochukwu, Speaker State House of Assembly Chief Chinedum Orji, Chairman House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary Mr. Emeka Okoroafor, Secretary to the State Government and members of the State Executive Council.
Also invited are Head of Service, Body of Permanent Secretaries, all Service Chiefs in the State, AIG Zone Nine Umuahia, State Commissioner of Police, State Director of DSS, all Heads of Para-military Agencies, including Comptroller Nigeria Correctional Service, NBA Branch Chairmen across the State and all stakeholders.
