NDLEA nabs 75-year-old grandpa, 21 others over tons of illicit drugs seized in seven states

A seventy-five Year old grandfather, Usman Bokina Bajama popularly called Clemen, tops the list of twenty-two suspects arrested in operations across seven States by operatives of the national Drug Law Enforcement agency (NDLEA) during which over one million Capsules of banned new psychoactive substances were seized.
The NDLEA spokesman, Mr. Femi Babafemi in a statement today disclosed that one million, one thousand three hundred and eighty-seven bottles/capsules of banned psychoactive substance, Akuskura and tramadol as well as two thousand five hundred and six kilograms of Cannabis were taken hold of during the arrest.
Mr. Babafemi also said that over ten hectares of farms where these substances were being cultivated have been destroyed in Edo and Adamawa .
Meanwhile, the chairman/Chief Executive NDLEA, Brigadier general Mohamed Buba Manwa (Rtd) has commended the Officers and men of Edo, Adamawa ,Lagos and other States of the Federation for their resilience and charged them to remain vigilant and committed to the collective goal of saving Nigeria from drug scourge .
