CHIEF OKEY IGWE EXTOLS DR. NNAMDI IBEKWE DURING THE HAND OVER OF ULTRA MODERN HOSPITAL BEDS.
The state deputy Governorship candidate of the PDP Chief Okey Igwe says has assured of improvement in the healthcare infrastructure and policy for the people from what the the present administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has achieved.
Chief Igwe who is also the member representing Umunneochi state constituency stated this at Amankalu Igbere during the hand over of ultra modern hospital beds donated to the health centre in the community by the PDP candidate for Bende north state constituency Dr. Nnamdi Ibekwe through the Oziomachi Foundation.
He commended the the donor for his philanthropy efforts towards the welfare of people of Bende north and tasked leaders of Amankalu Ibere to ensure the equipment as safeguarded and optimally utilized.
Speaking, the PDP candidate for Bende north state constituency and president Oziomachi Foundation Dr.Nnamdi Ibekwe said he saw the state of facilities at the health entre and decided to intervene, stressing that he will do a lot more for the people Umunna Bende in general.
In his remark on behalf of the people of Amankalu Igbere autonomous community, the President general Chief Chinwe Awa commended the Oziomachi Foundation for the donation as well as their an Dr. Ibekwe for having the interest of his people at heart.
Correspondent reports that traditional rulers from the area led by Eze Uwakwe Ukaegbu later confered Chief Okey Igwe and Dr. Nnamdi Ibekwe with chieftaincy titles of Ikemba 1 of Igbere and Ozioma Eji Eje mba 1 of Bende respectively.
