BURKINA FASO’S MILITARY LEADER READY TO STEP DOWN.

Burkina Faso’s Military leader, Lieutenant Colonel Paul – Henri Damiba who was ousted in a coup on Friday last week has formally agreed to step down.

Reports say, the country’s new self-declared leader, Captain Ibrahim Traore had Lieutenant Colonel Paul-Henri Damiba’s resignation and conditions he had set.

The announcement followed attack on French Institutions, after it was reported that Lieutenant Colonel Damiba was sheltering at a French Military base.

The last Friday’s coup was the second one this year while Burkina Faso has experienced eight coups since Independence in 1960.
