EUROPEAN LEADERS HOLD SUMMIT ON RUSSIAN WAR.

The Leaders of more than forty European countries have met in Prague, at a historic first meeting of a new political forum of nations.

Reports say leaders from the EU, Turkey, Norway and the Balkans attended the summit where UK Prime Minister Liz Trues described France’s President Emmanuel Macron as a friend having previously declined to say whether he was a friend or foe.

According to the reports, Mr. Macron spoke of building a common strategy on Russia’s war in Ukraine while Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke via video link even as Germany’s Chancellor described the gathering as a great innovation.

The Summit which was billed as an European political community beyond the EU, has been championed by Mr. Macron who told Newsmen yesterday that it sent a message of unity.
