GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU COMMENDS ABIA STUDENTS.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has commended Abia Students for the volume of love, support and solidarity shown towards his administration.
Governor Ikpeazu made the commendation when he received in audience at the Governor’s lodge Aba, the leadership of NANS, the leadership of National Association of Abia state Students, Federation of Ngwa Students, Presidents of the Students union government of all the tertiary institutions in the state and other union leaders led by Comrade Ndom Chibuzo Uchendu who came to felicitate him on his 58th birthday celebration in the state.
The Governor while noting that his administration has continued to prioritize the welfare of Abia students and provided a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning to thrive, also charged the SUG Presidents to ensure adequate peace in their respective institutions.
In his speech, Comrade Ndom thanked Governor Ikpeazu for his sustained fatherly advice and support towards the development of the student community in the state, and pledged the full support of Abia students towards actualizing his Senatorial ambition come 2023.
Contributing, the Deputy Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Comrade Cokey Nwachukwu and the NANS Zonal representative, Comrade Frank Eme Orji while thanking God for his goodness and mercies upon the life of the Governor whom they described as a life member of NANS, also prayed God to continue to strengthen as well as grant him victory at the polls.
Highpoint of the visit was the decoration and endorsement of Governor Ikpeazu as their sole candidate for Abia South Senatorial District by the president, National Association of Abia state Students, Comrade Bethel Agbara and the National president, Federation of Ngwa Students, Comrade Ugwuala Victor on behalf of the students.
