GOVERNOR IKPEAZU VOWS TO BRING SECURITY OPERATIVE THAT ATTACK CHIEF ELECHI TO BOOK.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has vowed to bring to book the Security Operative who almost matched the DG Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization Chief Chinedum Elechi to death two nights ago in Umuahia.
Addressing the press when he Visited Chief Chinedum Elechi at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Umuahia, where he has successfully undergone surgery, Governor Ikpeazu thanked God for sparing the life of Chief Elechi despite the degree of cuts sustained in the attack.
The Governor said that such a blood-tasty character should not be allowed to be in the midst of the sane public, and thanked the management of FMC for their timely response.
Earlier, the victim, Chief Chinedum Elechi narrated his ordeal and thanked God for using passersby to save his life from the assailant who could have murdered him.
He thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his timely intervention through the FMC and appreciated Abians and friends for upholding him in prayers.
Our government House correspondent Ezechukwu Adimoha reports that the Governor who was received on arrival by the Chief Medical Officer FMC Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi was accompanied by the SSG Mr Chris Ezem, Chief of Staff to the Governor Chief Okey Ahaiwe, the member representing Ukwa West state Constituency Mr Godwin Adiele, Dr Cosmos Ndukwe and members of the Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization.
