Parents and Guardians have been advised to engage their children and wards meaningfully in this summer period.

The State Chairman Parent Teachers Association, Prince Jude Ezeigbo made the call in an interview with BCA Correspondent Ifeanyi Ogbonna while reacting to the school vacation for the first term 2022/2023 Academic session.

Prince Ezeigbo stressed the need for parents and guardians to monitor their children’s activities this vacation and engage them in summer lessons, in order for them not to forget all that they were taught in school.

He commended the State Government for the investment it has made in the educational development of the state including building of school blocks, renovation, training and retraining of teachers among others.

Prince Ezeigbo expressed happiness on the performances of Abia students in the National and International examinations over the years which he attributed to the State Government’s investment in Education.
