INFORMATION AND STRATEGY BOSS EXTOLS WIFE OF THE GOVERNOR FOR THE INTERVENTION IN LIVES OF ABIANS.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Dr Eze Chikamnayo has described the various interventions of the wife of the Governor Dr. Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu on the lives of Abians as legendary and exemplary.

Dr. Chikamnayo was speaking in an interview with news men during the public presentation of two books; “Humility, Compassion & Service, The Nkechi Ikpeazu Story” written by four authors and “Understanding Industrial Psychology”, co-authored by the Wife of the Governor as well as the 7th Anniversary of the Vicar Hope Foundation, a pet project of the Governor’s wife at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia.

He explained that the various interventions carried out by the Vicar Hope Foundation, especially, building of houses for the indigent enhancement of livelihood of women and women empowerment, elimination of violence against women, healthcare delivery among others are legendary.

According to him, the contributions of Dr. Mrs. Ikpeazu to society, especially through her pet project, would be ever green, adding that she has set a standard for other First Ladies to follow.

The Commissioner added that the wife of the Governor has through her selfless services contributed immensely to the process of ensuring that the era of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu ends in a resounding manner and maintained that the book on the Governor’s wife is a factual account of the person of Mrs. Ikpeazu

While congratulating the Wife of the Governor on the feat achieved in the past seven and half years, the Information Boss enjoined Abians to ensure they vote PDP candidates at all levels in the State during the forthcoming general elections to maintain the tempo of visionary and impactful administration in the State.

Dr. Chikamnayo maintained that based on the various achievements of Governor Ikpeazu in all the sectors of the economy, the PDP would secure a landslide victory in the elections.
