Members of the Hospital Management Board and members of Performance Improvement Committee have been inaugurated with a charge to recommend and oversee companion project that will enhance service delivery and Internally Generated Revenue for the Hospital Management Board, HMB.
The Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu who gave the charge while inaugurating the members at the Government House, Umuahia further directed that they review and approve monthly verification and attendance monitoring report.
Governor Ikpeazu represented by his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu reaffirmed that in line with government’s resolve to ensure that the services of HMB is improved, they are to suspend workers who remain on ‘No Show List’ for extended period as well as review employee appeals for reinstatement or retroactive pay.
He congratulated all members on their nomination and charged them to take advantage of their expertise and pedigree to ensure that the State Hospital Management Board performs optimally.
Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated members, the Chairman, Hospital Management Board, Mr Amaechi Mboma and his Committe counterpart, Dr Felix Chiwendu Joe represented by the Secretary, Christian Ugwumadu thanked the Governor for finding them worthy to serve and contribute to the great service delivery the present administration is known for and assured that they will discharge their responsibilities creditably.
