EU Agrees to Send Ukraine One Million Artillery Shells.
More than a dozen European Union member states have agreed to supply Ukraine with at least one million artillery shells over the next Year.
Reports say the plan, worth two billion pounds in total, was agreed in Brussels yesterday as Ukraine had told the EU it needed three hundred and fifty thousand shells a month to hold back advancing Russian troops and launch a co
unter- offensive this year.
According to the reports, the deal came as Russia grows concerned at a Ukrainian counter- offensive near Bakhmut.
Ukrainian foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has hailed the game-changing decision from the EU.
Meanwhile Defence and foreign Ministers from seventeen EU Countries and Norway have signed the ammunition agreed.
