FG Arraigns Tukur Mamu on 10-count Terrorism Charge.

The Federal Government today at the Federal High Court in Abuja arraigned Kaduna based Islamic Scholar, Tukur Mamu on ten-count charges bothering on terrorism.
Mr. Mamu, who has been in the custody of the Department of the State Service, DSS, since last year, was docked before Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo, for offences relating to violent attack on Abuja-Kaduna train, in which several persons were abducted.
He was charged with offences including, receiving ransoms from families of victims of the Kaduna train attack, dealing with terrorist’s funds, obstructing the activities of the Chief of Defence Staff Committee to negotiate with those who kept hostage victims of the train attack and exchanging voice notes with Boko Haram spokesperson.
Further more, Mr. Mamu was accused of collecting four hundred and twenty thousand Dollars from families of the attack, and another twenty one million Naira from other set of families of the train attack.
Meanwhile, Justice Ekwo remanded Mr. Manu in prison custody after adjourning the ruling of the case to a later date.
